Our digital health work designs and evaluates technologies to achieve meaningful improvements in health and healthcare outcomes, with an emphasis on underserved patient populations and healthcare settings. This includes the design of new mobile applications as well as improving the effectiveness of existing technologies such as online patient portals tied to electronic health records (EHRs). Dr. Lyles also founded, SOLVE Health Tech, an organization that partners with digital health companies to adapt their products, improve implementation workflows, and test their real-world effectiveness to increase the accessibility of digital health solutions to more diverse audiences.
Co-founded by Courtney Lyles and Urmimala Sarkar, SOLVE brings together digital health companies and research on diverse populations to create products that are truly accessible for everyone.
